Pale, straw yellow color. Appropriately hazy. Minor head which leaves a few streaks on the glass.
The smell is earthy and not wheat-like at all. There’s a bit of cardboard to the nose as well. I get some wet leaves and a burnt wet wood smell. Lastly, it’s a bit medicinal. Perhaps this an off batch.
The taste is a huge improvement with a crisp lemony flavor. The wheat is subdued but present. There’s a berry fruitiness but no banana (or clove). The finish is clean with the lemon standing out. Shorter aftertaste.

Pours like hazy golden banana, not that golden banana. Some nice banana and clove goodness. There's a dry peppery finish. It's like a banana-clove smoothie. Delicious and a beer I will be drinking the rest of the summer.
