Golden color and nearly clear. Modest head which leaves several rings of lace.
Fresh cut floral hop to begin smell. Solid bready/toasted malt.
The taste parallels the aroma with a roasted barley malt start and a spicy hop counterbalance. Richer body than most pale ales. Moderate carbonation. The neutral hop bitterness increases in the swallow, leaving a long aftertaste. Overall, this is well balanced if slightly hoppy.
