Dark amber color. Near brown. Appears to be clear. Good starting head but it settles to film quickly. Excellent blanket/thick ring lacing.
Great blend of caramel (slightly dry) and a floral hop nose.
Tastes closest to a brown ale but the mouthfeel, while fuller, retains the lager crispness. The malt flavor continues throughout the taste but there comes forward in the swallow. Moderate length aftertaste. This definitely not a Dad Beer despite its name.
