Presentation: On draft.
Appearance: Opaque with a ring laced tan head.
Smell: Black malts and lovely dark fruits.
Taste: Up-front semi-astringent black malt flavours. Earthy with the slightest of burnt chocolate and caramel matls. Some dark ripe fruits flavours manifest then a hop bitterness shows up more towards the end to offset the strong dark malt profile.
Notes: A very interesting, almost mysterious, stout, and one of the best local stouts that I've had in sometime.
