Hazy, dirty gold color. Smaller head but it leaves a ring of lace with thick streaks thereafter.
The aroma is semisweet with a light flowery hop. Overall, the smell is a bit muted when compared to their other offerings.
There is an interesting burnt touch to this beer; it comes at the swallow. The taste starts normally with a mostly dry pale malt. The body and carbonation are within expectations. The hop bitterness is similar to black pepper along with the aforementioned ashy flavor. Overall, subtly different from the run-of-the-mill IPAs.
