Nitro-poured at the brewpub.
Deep dark brown where no light passes through the edge of the glass. Lasting beige head but surprisingly little lacing.
An excellent blend of semisweet cocoa and chocolate along with a touch of coffee. Subsequent smells brings forth a bit of cardboard.
Neutral body with an elevated “carbonation”. The coffee is mildly more pronounced but the flavors lean more toward the dark Baker’s chocolate (no notable cocoa). Relatively mild finish of chocolate nibs. Short aftertaste.
