I haven't reviewed a beer in a long time but this was deserving of a review.
A- Poured into a flute with very large bubbles that disappeared quickly. This beer was dark red almost purple in color. Really nice looking beer.
S- Raspberries and lactic acid. Really reminded me of a fresh Rose de Gambrinus.
T- This is incredibly tart with a nice strong raspberry punch. I really loved this beer.
M- Nice carbonation and weight. Not overly sweet and syrupy like you might get if you didn't ferment this fully.
D- Ok it is 10% alcohol but you could hardly tell. I really really enjoyed this beer. Maybe the best sour CBC has ever made. That is certainly saying something for a brewery that makes incredible sours. Go try this while you have the chance.

Had it on tap at the 22nd Anniversary party today.
Appearance: Pours a nice rose to light ruby with minimal crown / retention / lace. Good clarity btw.
Smell: Wonderful amount of lactic acid, cherries, and raspberries combining into pure deliciousness.
Taste: Same as nose. It opens with cherry tartness and finishes with a raspberry quality.
Mouthfeel: Light side of medium bodied. Not sugary or cloying but not too dry either.
Overall: Solid offering!

Wow this was the highlight of my recent trip to CBC with some friends!
A cherried imperial lambic? Wow yes.
Beautiful dark rose color with no head and little carbonation.
Sweet/tart smell of the cherries but not overpowering in any way.
Wonderful cherry tartness that's clean and smooth balanced by the sweet and dry acidic finish. This beer was 10%? That explains a lot.
I am still a greenhorn when it comes to lambics, but I am confident this was a stellar brew. Get it before it's all gone!
