Orange amber/brown color. Hazy. Decent starting head for a barleywine but it settles quickly to minor rim bubbles and no lacing.
Sugary like cotton candy smell. Notes of strawberry and sweet cherries. Surprisingly, no notable alcohol.
Sweet sugar cane start with pale malt overtones. The swallow brings a cherry/fruit punch kick. Relatively flat with a light spritz. Rich body naturally. As the aftertaste slowly fades, the alcohol finally shows up and finishes the taste. As the beer warms I do get some faint hop in the background.
