This version clocks in at 6.75% abv. Noted as an ale for ALS, an experimental hop IPA.
Hazy, amber color. Overflowing initial bar-poured head. Wider, nearly blanketing, lace left on the glass.
Sweet with some alcohol presence to the nose. Flowery and piney hop smell.
Mild, lightly toasted malt start with some warming alcohol presence. The hop kicks in quickly and dominantly. Fuller body but with plenty of carbonation. The finish is like black pepper creating a lengthy aftertaste.
