On tap at cambridge common:
My first beer to celebrate the end of fall semester couldn't have been better. Dark and thick for an IPA. Lots of head. Citrus, hops, and malts. Truly an amazingly balanced beer - this is not your west coast IPA. it has its hops, sure, but they perfectly melt into the maltiness of the brew. Full-bodied mouthfeel and highly drinkable. wish i would have gotten another...
and damn those nachos were tasty.

Thank you to UncleJimbo for sending this great beer in the 1st GIF.
Now the beer.
Poured a nutty brown (surprisingly dark) with a tan head and nice lacing lasted the whole glass.
Aroma was floral/earthy hops and a nice amount. Not overkill, but good enough.
Taste was what won me over. A nice mix of floral, earthy hops, nice bitter end. Mmmm
Mouthfeel was slight cream like.
Drinkability, well, this growler was finished in about 36 hours of just me drinking it. And if I could get more easliy, I would. Simply a real good beer.

The Winter IPA poured a deep ruby-chestnut brown with an off-white head that dissapated very quickly into a thin ring around the edge of the glass. The aroma was of floral and citrus hops with some faint notes of wood. Perhaps oak or apple-wood? The taste up front was earthy hop flavors and a touch of caramel malt followed by citrus hop bitterness. The finish was drier malt flavors balanced with floral and citrus hop bitterness. The aftertaste was alcohol warmth and hop bitterness balanced with faint malt flavors that kept competing with the hop bitterness. The mouthfeel was medium with some alcohol warmth on the tongue.
Overall a very good IPA. Very much darker than I would have expected for an IPA. This and the low carbonation of the cask-conditioning blended with the alcohol warmth almost made me feel like I was drinking a barley wine.

This brew pours a cloudy amber color with little head and little carbonations being on cask. A rich white collar is left. The oaky smell is great, along with being the right seerving temp made the hops jump right at me. Hops are strong in flavor also they send my mouth in a frenzy. The malt is light which was nice for being a darker than usual IPA. This is a great beer and I can not wait to have more of there brews.
Cheers

I liked this IPA. It poured a cloudy brown color with nice white foam. The aroma was of strong floral hops. The taste was dominated by hops both the floral flavors and the bitter, but was well balanced with a nice hoppy finish. The mouthfeel was clean and crisp with moderate carbonation that tickles the tongue. The drinkability was very good: clean and refreshing. Nice IPA.

Tasted at Bukowski's Tavern, Boston, MA
Darker than the normal IPA, the head retention is of a quality brew and obvious excessive hopping. Smells fragrant of citric rind, pungent flowers and a touch earthy … some fruitiness from the yeast as well, oh yeah the malt is there as well.
Overkill on the smoothness, just meant it went down quicker. Malt and other flavours are quite inundated with a barrage of hop flavour and bitterness that ranges the gamete of citrus, floral, herbal and earthy. A showing of mild estery alcohol and fruitiness in the end. Malt still holds on a bit with toasted grain flavour. Finishes with a light sweetness and long lasting hop flavour.

This bier poured a dark mahogany; quite attractive looking! Head was fine, thin and creamy, and lacing was also nice to look at. Another example, though, of a darker than usual IPA. Nose tended to be on the mild side, with a smidge of malt combining with a medium dose of Cascades. Mouthfeel was pleasant overall, contributing well to the drinking experience. A decent dose of bready malt started out on my palate, followed by a healthy dollop of grapefruity hops to finish things up. A very enjoyable brew! Prosit!!

Saw this charmer on tap last night and had to try it. Good deep amber color and light head. Light on the spices, good on the hops. I was quite impressed. A good seasonal IPA, the bite is just right for those cold winter nights.
