Enjoyed at the barley wine festival. Reviewed from notes.
A - Poured into a snifter a murky honey hue with a thin head that fades slowly to leave a light halo.
S - Aromas of loads and loads of white wine and grapes. Nice sweeter honey, light oak and tannins, little caramel.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, nice caramel, light apple, loads of grapes. There is BIG white wine flavour, huge fruits, very light alcohol finish. Almost tea like notes going on.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, light alcohol on the finish.
O - Overall this is a very, very nice beer with really good white wine notes. Great honey and sweetness with some really fruity aspects. Well done.

Cloudy caramel brown color, with a white ringlet. Aroma of caramel malts, wine, stone fruits, rum raisin. Taste was decent, but a bit off-balance compared to other beers of the style. Sweet malts, caramel, grape skins, apricot, raisins, fairly big oak profile, with a solventy booze kick. Medium body, low carb, chewy mouthfeel, actually pretty smooth and drinkable for the high ABV. Pretty good, worth a try.
