On tap at the 2014 Secret Stash Bash (Atlanta).
Pours hazy golden amber with a weak, bubbly head.

Flavor: sweet, sour and mildly bitter all at once. Great complexity with a clear bbl effect that still allows the main features of the Belgian golden to show. Bourbon does dominate the aftertaste. Strong flavor.

O: unique and very interesting brew, yet not challenging. Partially hidden alcohol.

S: oak, some vanilla, fruit (pineapple)

A: cloudy golden color

T: sweet, oak, slight fruity taste, not very bitter on the finish

M: heavier body, but carbonation helps with the full body

O: nice barrel aged golden, its a big beer, beware very drinkable.

On tap at the Torpedo Room in Berkeley, tapped that day (1/21/14).

Poured a beautiful hazy golden color with an eggshell white head. The aroma was huge with big notes of butterscotch, caramel, oak, vanilla, and bourbon. Taste followed the nose with a fruity sweetness, bananas and some tropical fruit, big caramel sweetness and bourbon notes. The base beer really serves to showcase the barrel. Mouthfeel was full but not thick or sticky, on par with the style. A big surprise with this beer, highly enjoyed.
