Had on tap. Reddish brown body with a tan cap that settles into a collar. The whiskey dominates the nose, punching through the dark fruit, earthy yeast and toasted caramel malts. In the taste is it balances more, definitely fruitier than the original. Feel is on the hot side, barrel has bite which the malt backbone falters to a bit but overall is clean
