Bottle from Albertsons. Poured into a stange. Pale golden with small foamy head. Aroma tells me this is done right, crackers, biscuits, light grains. Taste builds on this, crisp grainy flavors, mild hoppy snap finishes it. Spot on. Well done.

So Sierra Nevada has made a few barely different kolsches in recent years. This was the most recent one, consumed middle of July 2018.
Pours a familiar golden yellow hue, great clarity, 3/4" virgin white head. Yet another super impressive appearance, they are the masters. Aroma has that kolschy lager thing going for it. Pretty clean. Light sulphur that is gone as soon as you catch it.
Taste is actually pretty close to Summerfest. There is an undeniable amount of lemon like notes to it. High carbonation true to style. Plenty of levity but summer freshness going on with this one. Definitely a hotter weather kind of beer. Finishes dry, but not as dry as it could because of some of those citrus notes permeating the entire drinking experience. These were always nice because they came in a variety pack and were barely more than $1 per beer. Party time all the time when you get that quality at that price. Well done.

Pours a nice light golden hue with a frothy white head into my glass. Sweet and dough-y in the nose. Crisp, easy-going nature makes it a quaffer. Super clean finish with only a touch of lingering dough. Another great beer for a hot summer day!

Pours clear straw yellow with a with fizzy/froathy head. Little lacing sticks.
The smell is very clean - just a hint of bread and subtle citrus (lemon).
As expected for the style, it is clean with a mild malt sweetness and a dryness in the finish. Unlike the German, it has a lemon/citric hop tone in the finish.
It is light, crisp, refreshing.
It's an easy-drinking, refreshingly dry American interpretation of a Kolsch. There is a hint of American hops that put a different spin on the style.
