Yizzo, this is another from Sierra Nevada's Single, Fresh, Wet & Wild festival in Chico, CA. 7 years later and this is the first review of the beer on BA.
Pours a light amber color, 1/3" barely off white head. Wasn't getting too much in noticeable, discernable unique hop aroma on this one. I'd kind of describe it as a very light Amarillo like lemongrass feel to it, might be a better hop for saison usage.
Taste was standard Sierra Nevada far, had the requisite crystal malt that was more enjoyable than about when anyone else does it. Relatively light bitterness, same little bits of lemongrass coming through the entire time. Notes indicate the abv was 6.4% (and also confirmed by untappd). Carbonation was just right. I guess if you can imagine a slightly bigger SNPA with some hops that bring a lighter citrus and bigger lemongrass aspect than their C hopped flagship does.
Neat to tick, but I dunno if I see this one coming back anytime, its already been 7 years.
