Lightly corny and earthy aroma. Actually, it smells a bit like tire rubber.
Flavor is strangely peppery, with a modest bitterness. Very odd, for a kolsch.

On tap at The Federal Bar in North Hollywood, CA.
Pours a hazy golden-yellow with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, grass, and fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, grass, hay, and slight fruit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty, light, and easy to drink.
Serving type: on tap.
