Inspired by the rich and complex Belgian-style spiced beers, Broken Vows was brewed with ginger, orange peel and cardamom. This bold dark ale has dried fruit notes of fig and raisin with a kick of citrus and aromatic spice.

Very dark opaque brown with a beige ring. Spices, especially cardamom lead the orange, cocoa and dark fruit malts in the nose. Taste is too perfumey to get into the malt depth, spices overpower the palate, some fig shines through. Body is airy, spiced, thin, and malty underneath it all. Forgettable
