Brewed with our friends in San Francisco, City Beer 10th Anniversary Ale was inspired by New Orleans iced coffee. This hearty stout was brewed with lactose, chicory, and coffee before spending six months in bourbon barrels. The result pour dark with an herbal aroma, deliciously creamy mouth-feel and rich, luscious flavor.

A: Lots of cold pressed coffee, chicory, lightly sweet, with dark chocolate and coffee like roasted malts and faint bourbon aromas.
A: Black color, totally opaque, with a moderate khakis head that has solid retention. There is light lacing in the glass.
T: Big cold pressed coffee flavor, light chicory, lightly sweet, with deep roasted malts that are dark chocolate/coffee-like, faint vanilla with a very light roast bitterness on the finish.
M: Full bodied with moderate carbonation. The beer has a super smooth mouth-feel.
O: Delicious; the beer has a great coffee presence in the aroma and flavor and the lactose helps give the beer body and smoothness.
