A: Moderate roasted malts, with strong roasty aroma, well coupled with moderately citrusy American hops.
A: Totally black, opaque, with a solidly thick tannish head that has solid retention. Lots of lacing left in the glass.
T: High roasted malt flavors upfront coupled with moderately citrusy hops. The beer has a semi-dry finish and is quite smooth.
M: Medium bodied with moderately high carbonation.
O: Pretty tasty; the beer has lots of malt roast that is well coupled with lots of citrusy hops. While super roasty, this stout has neither coffee or chocolate qualities, however the beer is clean and the aroma and flavors compliment well.
