Look - Slight pink to rose gold. Crystal clear. White head.

Smell - Raspberries and sour funk. Whoa...

Taste - Raspberry and amazing complex brett dominated by pinapple. Nice sourness.

Mouthfeel - Medium body and appropriate carbonation. Coats a bit.

Overall - An absolutely fantastic beer. It may have been this good last year, who knows, but waiting sure didn't hurt anything. Wish I had another.

Had this back in June 2017. IIRC my first legit wild ale from Sierra Nevada.

Pours a rose wine like color. Go raspberries, impacting the color and shit. Couldn't really settle in on a head though, just vanished into a sheer film on the top. Aroma of raspberries and wood. Its seems elegantly simple at this point.

Taste showed a chewy brett portfolio. Alternating sweet, sour and dry raspberry effect throughout the entire experience. Hid the alcohol amazingly well, on paper, I look at an abv this high for style and I think its gonna be a terrible beer that is all hot and imperialized. No such problem here. But then again, I guess the fact that the abv says 9.8% here and 7.1% on the bottle is a pretty big difference. Carbonation on point.

This was one of the most enjoyable beers of the series. A lot of them went for some weird Dogfish Head like ingredients, but this one was straight forward and well done.
