On tap at the brewery taproom in NC.
Very dark but clear brown body. Durable beige head. Streaks of lacing left on the glass.
Relatively mild aroma given the strong flavor The flavor is dominated by whisky and whisky barrel notes, but the malts are not entirely masked. Good balance, particularly on the bitter/sweet dimension. Lingering, very pleasant aftertaste.
Full body with medium carbonation. Negligible harshness despite highABV.
