Consumed September 2018. Might have been my favorite of the entire Alpha Hop Society series. Bottle #413/465.
Brown ale pours brown color with decent clarity for that color, this isn't a viscous brown, thinner appearance than that. Cream colored head 1/2". The aroma is nice, delivers in every aspect of what it claims to be, peaches and pecans in tandem, bourbon, brown malt. Its all there.
Taste is nice, coming in under 10% allows this to have virtually no boozines. Smooth as can be, light vanilla note, brown sugar, more pecan and peach character, good carbonation. Nothing dominates, you've got a lot going on yet a rather straight forward beer that delivers. Usual references of light toffee and caramel. Neither sweet nor dry, this is a smooth balanced ship. Even though I could use the word molasses, it really drinks relatively light and almost thin (not a bad thing here to use 'thin'). If there was any beer from this initial AHS series that I would like to see made again (and might as well ramp up production so I can buy at least 2 bottles), it would be this one.

Look - Mostly clear light caramel color. Small white lacy head
Smell - Faint peaches, alcohol, bourbon, caramel. Pear from hops? Slight tanginess.
Taste - Peaches and Pecans are the major players in this brown ale party. Some dry oak shows up towards the end. Very good take on the style with very complimentary adjuncts.
Mouthfeel - Medium body with dry finish.
Overall - Really enjoyed this. I could see this one in the seasonal lineup.
