Tap & crowler from the Mills River brewery. 12.2% edition.
Top heavy Sidecar glass. Clear, dark brown & black tea body. Sticky, tall, but thin head.
Smells of whiskey, wood, cola, brown sugar & perhaps a little soy sauce.
Thick, woody, bitter char, burnt sugar, long drawn out warming boozy note. Twinge of oxidation. Strong carbonation & not super noxious or hot. Easy enough to ask for a second pour.
Tasty.
