We're constantly brewing new IPAs looking for bold hop flavor. With this beer, our brewers thought it was so good that we decided to serve it straight from the tanks - unfiltered, unprocessed, and raw - to let all the fruit-forward hop flavors shine. The result is a hazy beer with modest bitterness and intense hop character. To some, making an unfiltered hop bomb may seem crazy, but to us, its a hazy little thing called IPA.

The cloudy golden yellow beer pours out into a Duvel glass with a 1/2β white head that slowly recedes to a thin layer on the surface while leaving some scattered bits of lacing on the sides of the glass, an irregular thin island of foam and a thin ring around the glass. Sipping creates lots of scattered patches and legs of lacing.
The aromas include a some pine resin and lots of citrus, mostly orange and tangerine zest.
The flavors are much as expected from the nose with the citrus and the pine resin contributing their flavors in the very nice balance. Some almost honey like malt sweetness nicely compliments some hop bitterness that is noticeable but not at all harsh.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied and fairly smooth but with a slight crispness from the moderate carbonation. The finish begins as the resin, citrus and sweetness start to recede to a very smooth ending that is semi-dry, slightly bitter and has traces of the citrus.
A very drinkable beer and one that I expect to be having more of fairly soon. This is an unfiltered IPA that emphasizes the fruity hop flavor while keeping some hop bitterness. A well brewed beer worth trying when you see it.

Pours copper with some decent haze - nose gives bread rolls, toasty malt, light caramel, and herbs. The taste is right up the middle for an IPA, hitting on malt, pine, some fruit notes, and finishing slightly resinous but clean. Super solid overall, good everyday beer.

An IPA loaded with flavor. Intense aroma of citrus and hops. Solid hop flavor slows you down as you savor it. It pours with a solid white head that hangs around nicely. A classic IPA that doesn't push the ABV into the stratosphere like Elysian Space Dust, a mere 6.7%. Way beyond any lager. One of my favorite US brewers.

Main thoughts about this beer:
Refreshing, sweet, juicy and fruity, Juicy Fruit (it seriously reminds me of the gum), somewhat subtle.
There are also some nice, but subtle floral and piney complexities. Overall, has a lot of good flavor and is enjoyable to drink, but is on the low key side for an IPA.

From a 12 oz can into a pint glass, hazy orange yellow color with a massive white foamy head. Slow fade with lots of sticky residual foam and lacing. Nose of citrus β primarily oranges. Tastes semi-sweet citrus fruity β tangerine / orange with mild, dry citrus hops at the end. In the mouth itβs watery and quenching with low viscosity. Overall, a decent hazy citrus IPA. Would try again.

The 12 oz can pours beautifully. A 2.5 finger head is light and fluffy with a little lacing as things calm down. The look is hazy and raw, letting you know you're in for an adventure. It's slightly citrus, candy citrus and a bit hoppy on the nose. Then for me, though, the adventure slows down. The taste is nice, but tame, very tame. Some light citrus orange, maybe stonefruit, but again very light. No hoppy west coast thing at all, really, but again, it's a New England style, so that's not expected. It's really nice, maybe too nice. It feels to me like a good introductory hazy IPA for someone who wants to ease into the realm of hazys.

Hazy golden pour, steady half finger of white foam, bits if lace forming. Nose is tropical fruit.
Taste is mango, pineapple, papaya, sweet citrus, light kilned malt. Medium mouthfeel, creamy oats. Finish is citrus and lightly dank resin notes with a little extra tropical jam at the end.
