Fantastic! May have sat in my fridge for a year before I got to it.
Perfectly balanced, honey and wine barrel aging come through well. Not a lot of juniper flavor but slight herbal undertone and a nice blackberry flavor, maybe the fresh juniper berries have some blackberry tones? I swirled the last couple ounces and poured into the two glasses to get all that flavor, as should always be done with a beer like this. Clean finish, it’s dry but not too dry. Fine bubbles, reminiscent of a quality cider, smooth mouth feel.
They really nailed this one, drinkable, in fact I could have had a few more glasses of this, and I legit created an account to review this beer, it's that good! Alas, I'll probably never get my hands on another bottle. Cheers!

Thought this would be more interesting than it was. Tasted like a nice, well-made ale with a hint of juniper. Was good and drinkable, but flavors were much more subdued than I was anticipating. Would not have noted honey or barrel flavors at all, if they were not mentioned on the label. Aroma was rather nice, though; but beautiful and somewhat complex aroma did not carry through when drinking it, for whatever reasons. Basic ale flavor dominated on the palate, masking-out some of the other more subtle components.

Mixing in the sediment on the last pour improved flavor some, adding an almost lemony undertone. It seems that this beer took a lot of extra effort, without a lot to show for it. Need to dial up the juniper flavor some. Perhaps age it in gin barrels, or use another kind of yeast...

Lowest ABV of any BA beer I've seen.
