Pours an orange-ish appearance color wise with an off white head 1/4". Aroma was flowers, tea, grass, nature shit that isn't hops, malt or yeast basically.
Taste was like drinking not beer. I guess there was a malt body there that was familiar, but in terms of hops, it just wasn't happening. There is tea, dandelions, something called calendula, chamomile and hibiscus aged in red wine barrels. Didn't pick up any red wine barrel influence, aside from maybe the dense orange color of the beer. It actually came off like an alt that had a bunch of picked weeds dumped into it. I'm not a tea fan, and I'm not a fan of tea in my beer, just haven't had one I liked before. Didn't order the Bruery's Earl Grey tea beer for that reason.
So I dunno, the beer wasn't revolting, but it also wasn't anything I want to drink more than 2oz of either. Pretty color for sure, after that, meh. I dunno how this is classified as an ipa without any hop influence perceptible.
