Appearance - pours crystal clear almost smoked glass color, nice white head that settles to a thin cap. No lacing as expected.
Aroma - The gin and barrel come through well, there is almost a sweet candied orange aroma. It smells very clean.
Taste - The gin is strong in the taste as well and is a little abrasive on the finish. Mild barrel, sort of boozy flavor with hints of lime.
Feel - Medium bodied decent carbonation not as dry as expected with a brut IPA.
Overall - It is what it is not any worse than other brut IPAs I have tried the gin barrel adds a level of complexity .
