On tap at Lovin' Cup in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a clear burnt orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like sweet and stale malt, gummy vitamins, and astingent vegetal hops.
Sierra Nevada is a classic old money brewery. It very frequently makes very good beers. However, this beer is quite bad. It has a stale and weird fruitiness that really reminds me of off-brand gummy vitamins. It's also much too malty, and also too boozy. This was really hard to drink.
This is basically entirely undrinkable, with a syrupy feel, and an aspirin like bitterness on the back end.
This is highly disappointing, and one of the lesser beers I've had recently.
