Copenhagen 14/11 2020. 35,5 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Dark purple can with big yellow splotch with the name of beer and brewery.

Pours unclear pale yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet fruitiness mingling with stronger citric notes. Sweet blood orange and peach. Citrus and lime.

Fairly strong carbonation. Slightly thick, lively, tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by slightly stronger, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undercurrent. Lingers shortly. Semi-dry finish.

Pretty intense for a Session IPA yet still light and refreshing.

Pint ar Flying Pie.. Orange golden pour, small creamy head. Grainy, bready aroma. Taste brings a kiss of hops and citrus, and it gets dry at the finish. It went down fast.

CAN
Puffy snow white head over hazy lemon yellow; canary melon + guava nose; speck of wheat, then papaya, pear, a weedy edge, lemon granata, and cantaloupe; spritzy + clean.

Citra, Magnum, Simcoe, Comet, Mosaic, El Dorado (if it's the same as regular strength HLT)

There's a lot going on here: malt base is unobtrusive, the hops go for orchard fruit over tropical but the extensive hop bill provides layers, and the body falls neatly between NEIPA soft + sessionably crisp. Reminds me very much of Whiplash Rollover, though at a higher ABV.
The website says it's taproom only + the can has multilingual labeling - is this an export only canning? If so, I'm glad to be away if it gets me this little gem.

Ideal fruity sessioner.

355ml can from Tesco supermarket (£1.80):
Light, slightly hazy yellow with a bubbly, 1cm head that settles as a very patchy surface lacing. It's fresh & floral smelling with citrus & strong pine hops without anything dominating. It was fresh tasting, quite sharp & tangy with some lemon, citrus & faint pine hops coming through. The body is quite light & juicy with good carbonation & a sharp, semi-dry finish but overall it could have been stronger & I'd like to try the original 6.7% version.
