This smooth, dark lager takes you on a local farm tour, its rich flavor sown from harvests of Maisie Jane’s almonds, Lundberg rice, Chico State Farm peaches, and barley from our very own brewery fields. It’s just a taste of the vast Sierra Oro Farm Trail, which celebrates the valley’s fertile land and the passionate farmers who cultivate it.

from a 375 ml cage and cork finished bottle into a nonic pint glass.
pours a dark nearly completely opaque chocolate brown with a creamy tan head and seems to be a bit cloudy.
presents an initial sweet caramel, molasses(?), vaguely fruity aroma that quickly subsides.
surprisingly light flavor of mostly roasted malt. if I try real hard I think I can find the almond flavor but the peaches don't make themselves known.
fairly well carbonated, the beer feels slightly "fizzy" and leaves a bit of astringency on the back of the tongue. the 7% ABV is unnoticeable.
I enjoy the beer although it is much lighter and more "drinkable" than I was expecting.
(this is the first Baltic Porter I've ever had so take this with as few grains of salt as you wish)

Brown with two fingers of extremely foamy beige head.

It smells of apricots and sour Brett, with hints of coffee.

The taste is more like a Baltic Porter, it’s toasted notes, hints of almonds, very little fruit, it’s mostly malt forward and toasty with a hint of sweetness. Not at all like the nose.

I got this in Chico California at SnS health food store there and I’m drinking in Redding Dec 12, 2020.
