Reviewed from notes.

Pours a moderate golden color with a white head and a bit of haze. Good retention and lacing. Nose brigs some spicy yeast and earthy hops with light malt in the background. The taste infuses a bit if booze with the alice and some sweet malt. Feel is a bit thin and boozy. Drinks well overall, and was a nice change of pace.

Appears slightly hazed golden with a bright white head with intricate lacing surrounding my chalice. Aroma has a fruit and biscuit malt sweetness with tones of alcohol a slightly spicy nose. Flavor is pretty great for an American brewer, sweet tropical fruit spicy herbal notes with bready yeast and hints of chammomile. Mouthfeel isn't cloying this stuff stands up with effervescence, tropical fruit nice sticky sweetness on the palate but it's never cloying medium bodied ale. Drinkability is nice it proves it here on draft that Sierra Nevada needs to actually spread their wings and do some fun crazy styles on tap that will bring a new knowledge base around the country to what different types of beers are out there. That's a direct challenge to Sierra Nevada...

Draft at Delaney's. Golden colour with some white head, leaving abundant lace. The carbonation is right there. Sourness in the finish detracts from the enjoyment.Spiciness including corriander. Not a great representation of the style, but still drinkable. Alcohol seemed higher in this one.

from notes. If there was any head, it didn't last. Not very active, very clear, light golden/yellow. No lacing.

Belgian yeast character is strong but not overdone. Light hops and boozy esters in commensurate proportions add complexity. Sweet malty backbone supports the rest. Pretty nice.

Malty sweet with assertive Belgian yeastiness,. Barley perceptible backing hops, and well hidden booze. Sweet, smooth, and clean. But not very complex.

For a tripel, if feels thin. But it's got a solidly medium body, some light/medium visosity, and is smooth and clean.

Tasty, smooth and wicked easy drinking for what I assume (as I make my notes) is a big beer? Definitely not from Belgium. And should a tripel drink this easily?

The beer arrived in a pint glass golden yellow with just a wispy head. Sweet fruit--almost berry-like--in the nose. The spice of the hops is noticeable in the aroma as well. There almost seems to be a metallic note mixed in too.

A little husky grain up front. Sweet and fruity through the center. Some spicy hops toward then end. Balanced, but thin. The beer finishes dry.

This is a drinkable beer, but it could use some increased complexity.

Had this on tap at the Alehouse. As a huge Sierra fan this was a big disappointment. Appearance is golden yellow with little to no head and zero lacing. Scent is mild yeast, grainy, maybe even dare i say, "corn"? This smells and tastes like a macro, vrey little flavor other than some misplaced sweetness. I'm not getting the chewy yeasty bread sensation of my favorite tripels. This is a very thin imnposter of the style. I will not try again.

Pours a hazy gold color. Nice big puffy head. Aromas of malt but also that sweet fruity Belgian aroma of the style. This is sweeter than most other Tripels I have had, more of a sticky feel in the mouth. Yet still a nice flavorful example of the style. Gives you a nice warmth from the ABV but certainly not overwhelming. Glad I could try this one from SN.

I had this tonight on tap at Al's of Hampden -served chilled in a pint glass

A - a very clear golden w/ rising bubbles visible. A thin white cap tops the ale w/ very tight beading, moderate lace stickage occurs

S - The aroma is very yeast driven w/ belgian notes of spice and mild sugar/pils malt and light herbal hops. The scent has mild banana and slight toasted malt w/ tinges of breadiness

M - A somewhat thin, yet sturdy body w/ mild sweet feel, lots of carbonation and moderate spice. The alcohol makes the palate feel semi-dry in the middle w/ slight residual sweet texture and mellow creaminess toward the end

T - A light pils taste w/ slight cereal sweet flavor up front and light sugar tinge w/ mild spiciness. the yeast gives off a light tropical fruit essence and the herbal hop flavor balances the sweetness and adds light bitterness. The taste has a tinge of alcohol letting you know it is a tripel, but still seems smooth w/ a hint of melon and white grape. There is mild tea like flavor w/ vegetal smoothness which is pleasant. The malts seems to hold its place well yet give in to the fruit flavor the yeast provides, yet adds a light nuttinesss. Tripel tastes very light yet not sacrificing any flavor. The carbonation adds levity and smooth sweet effect remains after the pint is drained.

D - The flavor is good and not overpowering with alcohol as some American versions tend to be- a crisp and easy quaff. The tripel is very flavorful and in balance w/ easy drinking fresh flavors - I would certainly purchases this in bottles - a great tripel w/ subtlety
