Had a 10 oz pour while having a late lunch with Da Boss on 11-24-21 for $7.00.
Beer was served brown with a decent off-white head.
Nose was very botantical forward, juniper berries were very fragrant.
Taste was juniper berry forward, initially overwhelming the base Dunkel but with subsequent sips the roasted malt base and the gin barrel aging formed a sort of sweetness but it was not really sweet - it is hard to describe the flavor profile.
Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and smooth.
Overall a very unique beer that was fun to try!
