The name of this beer is deceiving and disappointing. It looks pretty. It smells like straw and faint tropical fruit, no hops whatsoever. Tastes like bland straw. There is literally no hop taste at all.

Picked up as part of a mixed six-pack at the Highland Lakes Ingles 11-16-22 for $2.00. Canned 9-9-22; consumed 4-21-23.

Beer poured light orange with a very nice long lasting white head.

Nose is giving some light citrus and tropical fruits.

Taste is a lighter pale malt base that displays an orange and mango forward profile. Finishes with a touch of rind bitterness but is more sweet than bitter; 4/10 on my bitterness scale.

Mouthfeel is heavier than normal for the style, light to medium bodied. Finish is smooth.

Overall a tasty beer but not brewed to the NEIPA style.

Had quite high expectations for this beer and although it wasn’t a letdown, I expected a little bit more. I mean hey, it even had Juicy IPA written on the can! but in reality it wasn’t that juicy. It did smell and taste like grapefruits, yep. It was quite bitter and zesty like a grapefruit, right. But I was missing a bit more fruitiness, a bit more of that something that makes your mouth water.
I mean, it was not bad, I loved the aroma and liked its taste, but it felt a bit lighter than I thought it would be.
The good thing is that at 7% ABV the booziness was nowhere to be found so it went down in a chug. A nice one.

For review purposes poured into a PBR goblet from a can marked with a packaging date of 7/6/2022. Could be a fresher sample but nothing seemed off to me and I have reason to believe it was mostly stored in a refrigerated setting.
Apple cider hazy in appearance. Sweet juicy notes on the nose. Pineapple is in the topnote sweetness, lime to grapefruit bitterness on the finish.
Enjoyable straight from the can or poured in a glass. Solid.

Slightly sweet to balance the hop bitterness. Moderate blend of flavors. Nice balance.

Yields a cloudy golden color with a smaller, spongy head.

Smells of ripe passion fruit, lime sorbet and cake dough among ripe oranges.

Has a lighter, well balanced and refreshing mouthfeel to it, with an effervescent, mineralic finish.

Tastes of toffee coated bitter limes, white bread dough and a note of caramel among papaya and sweet pineapple. Got a stony middle part with maintaining limes, caramel and wheat with a lighter fruit salad appeal. Finishes with more prominent, dry limes, luscious mango and blueberries, creating a longer lasting, bitter and crisp finish.

Well done, refreshing IPA with a signature bitterness, washed out a little by the advertised juicy aspects. The fruity hoppiness creates quite an intrigiung complexity, tied together by prominent, bitter limes.

APPEARANCE: Hazy golden, with big fizzy head of suds and splashes of lace.

NOSE: Brisk tropical fruit, juicy pineapple and citrus.

TASTE: Juicy, fruity hops and tropical fruit with a punch of grapefruit and a bitter finish. Finishes clean and dry, very pleasant and well-done.

Appearance: Yellow-hued body, fairly clear with a white hint of soapy sheen.

Smell: Floral, herbal. Tropical, citrus with a hint of snowberries. Sugar-crisped oats, a light breadiness.

Taste: A light, clean maltiness with some sweetish granola accents. A little floral herbaceous tone, along with pineapple, nectarine and citrus. Restrained bitterness. Mellow, subtle alcohol hint. Semi-dry finish with light bits of tropical, citrus fruits.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.

Overall: A decent albeit fairly pedestrian beer that flirts with the NEIPA style. As their stable is already well-populated with solids IPAs, this one falls to the wayside as being kinda forgettable.

Picked up this twelve pack for the weekend and have been pretty pleased so far. Big rocky head and tropical and lupulin hops in the nose. Tight bodied and clean in the finish. The flavor is maybe a little reserved for the style, but I still find this mighty drinkable.
