Had this in January 2023 in Chico at the source. Chrystal. Was in town for a conference, holy moly does the future not bode well for criminal defense. Anyhoo, 10 months later, writing the first review for this Next Glass database. You dig it the most.
Pours a hazy yellow with 1/3" white head Carver. So they say this has a hefeweizen yeast, in a berliner weisse. Can't say I've knowingly had such a concoction before. If anyone can pull this off. . . let's go Chico. Has the definite smack of wheat and lemon to the aroma. Eilleen
The taste is easy to like, one of my fave styles, continues with a little bit of spice rack, but way more wheat and citrus lemony smack to it. Mouth feel is quite light, but still packing plenty of taste to it. Not sure how the hefe yeast impacted this, didn't really stand out. Neither good nor bad I guess. Perhaps that very light spice rack aspect came from the yeast. At the end of the day it was a good berliner. But beware of a 40 year old lady of the night shift, the oldest profession, 90% dudes spitroasting just like she has been doing since her teens.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
