On tap Mills River
A- pours an amber brown with a one finger foamy off white head that reduces to a ring
S- oak, barrel juice, figs, cherries, raisins, brown sugar, caramel
T- Malty and sweet initially, before giving way to oaky barrel that adds barrel juice, caramel and vanilla cream. Mid palate brings out dark fruit notes of raisin and fig, as well as black cherry. The finish gives more barrel and dark fruit

On tap at the brewery in NC.
Clear copper color.
Lots of whiskey, bourbon, vanilla. Plums, figs, toffee, caramel, raisins. Has a slight sour twang to it, maybe some cherries. Big oak.
Really enjoyable. Nice Belgian ale with great barrels. Smooth but warming.
