Gold. Small lasting white head. Aroma light bread and hay. Taste light full bready grain, some grassy and hay hop character. Softer and more malty than Foam Pilsner with less hop character or bitterness. Fuller body. I enjoyed it better than foam Pilsner.

Been getting keen to ordering up some work vacations, heck ya I'll go to a conference in Chico, CA. Although I must say, I didn't think the usual CA riff raff would have made it to Chico, but there was all kinds of homelessness and mental illness I wasn't use to seeing in this college town. Anyways, just added the beer, also going to review it because I'm the hero that Next Glass needs.
Anyhoo, the first beer of the trip, let's rock, looks pretty, pours a golden color, 1/2" white head. Good clarity. Its hard for this brewery to make a bad looking beer. The aroma was mild, light grain and the yeast still seemed like their neutral Chico ale yeast, but like Orange Cassidy says "whatever."
The taste is pretty dang good for a light lager. Its nice to see it happen, all barley light beer. I can dig it. It gets those golden waves of grain flowing, usually its just a bunch of bitter water. Hop character is miniscule, but bigger than almost every other example of style.
I think they should package this up. I need light lagers in the summertime. Just an excellent light lager.
