There's a green hue to the straw-colored liquid. Mild hazing. The head just makes a single finger of width and settles to a thin layer of bubbles on the surface.
The hop smell comes first. It's mostly black pepper with a touch of citrus rind. The malt shows up slowly and softly giving off a barely-kilned pale aroma. Some initial splotches for lace, bare glass thereafter.
Clean, crisp taste matches the thinner body and higher carbonation. Very brief macro lager-like malt profile up front. The hop is naturally stronger and a moderate bitterness. This is a refreshing beer, probably reflecting the wheat malt present (although I don't catch any wheat on the tongue). This is what a good lawnmower beer can be.
