Comes in light yellow, lots of clarity and brightness to it, with a 3/5" white head. Aroma was mild, floral hops.
Taste came across more of a Saaz hop vibe, light toasted pale and Vienna malts. Its far from forceful. You have to go searching for flavor country. Just really seems crossover territory for Sierra Nevada.

On Tap at Mcmenimans.
Lighter Shade Of Pale pours out a lighter shade of pale with a bit of faded yellow all around. Looks kinda like a BMC product but the bright white cap on top debunks that. Some slight stickies.
Smell is really hard to grasp because it's just not all that pungent. A small hit of pale(biscuit) malt. Not picking up any usual hop scents.
Wow, this is light. As the nose would suggest there really is not much going on in taste straight forward pale malt and a touch of grassy hop taste with no citrus to speak of. Goes down in my book as a glorified lager.
The feel is beyond light and in the summertime this goes down like water. The feel reminds me of some Earth Bread and Brewery mouthfeels and in all honesty this smells/tastes/feels like it should of been brewed at earth instead of Sierra Nevada.
The name is perfect but I won't go for this again, there is nothing to it and paying $5 a pint for essentially water does not appeal to me.

On tap during philly beer week.
A: Golden body with a large fluffy white cap. Spotty lacing.
S: Mild hop aromas. Some citrus, a fair bit of grass. Biscuity malt comes through.
T: Oddly light. Cut grass, a little spicy hop, lemon and a light malt backbone. This was marketed as a east meets west coast hop profile... if I didn't know what I was drinking, I'd think I was drinking an english attempt at a continental pilsener.
M: Smooth, light bodied, perhaps slightly over carbed. Certainly an easier drinker.
O: Overall, this was missing something and was a bit conflicted. The regular SN pale ale is better and doesn't need to be "lightened" up. The hop selection was a bit off.

On tap at the brewery.
Pours a bright and light gold color with a nice big white head.
Aromas are hoppy, but nor overly so, light citrus, floral, and some spicy dough.
Taste is light, crisp, dry, but flavorful. Light citrus, some hard candy like sweetness, bread dough, and some creamy malts. Finish has a light bitter and floral hop bite.
Mouthfeel is nice, crisp, nicely carbonated, and with good body.
Overall this is nice. Plenty tasty, but very sessionable, this would be an excellent summer brew, and I'd love to taste this on cask. Yet another solid brew from the fine folks in Chico.

Had this at the brewhouse last Sunday. Pours a light yellow, bright, good white head. Aroma was minimal, lightly hoppy, floral ester thingy.
Taste, damn, I would guess they gave me Summerfest. Light, refreshing, really tasted like lager more than an ale. Hopping seemed to be at an all time low for Sierra Nevada. This beer really is bland for them, the blandest thing ever, I mean, less than the pilsner. It was my first and only beer of the day. Wouldn't look forward to having this again. Would recommend for people who don't like the flavor of beer.
