Original Review
Picked up the welcome gift for the Alpha Hop Society in Mills River on 3/18/2024. Enjoyed the bottle with my AHS partner and another friend 3/25/2024.
This was very rounded as initially got a cocoa and root vibe but eventually the subtle bourbon and port barrels came into play. Nose was definitely port fruity forward as the beer warmed. This was an enjoyable sipper!
2nd Review
Picked up an additional bottle as i wanted another coaster from the Welcome package. Bottle would go for $20 in the SNBC retail shop based on other 750 ml bottle pricing.
I have to say this has aged well, flavors melded together nicely so that neither the port, bourbon, nor chicory barrels dominated.
