Acquired a couple of cans as part of an Alpha Hops Society bonus beer 12-14-24. Brewed in Chico and canned 11-26-24, consumed can #1 for review 1-16-25.
Beer poured dark brown with a very nice tan head that has great hang time.
Nose is some medium roasted malts and a touch of lactose.
Taste is a lighter roasted malt base that works with a deft touch of lactose and chocolate. Hopping is just right leaving me with a style appropriate amount of sweetness in the end.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with each sip being smooth.
Overall, a nice job by the brewing team!
