This is the draft only version in Chico, not the canned collab they do every year.
Pours an amber color, real good clarity, another hallmark of Sierra Nevada's awesomeness, they make awesome looking beers. 1/3" off white head. The aroma has that caramel in a hot wax melter during the chill of an early fall feel to it.
The commercial tug job references it being spicy but that isn't really my experience tasting this beer. It doesn't really distinguish itself from the more popular distributed one they make in the collaboration series. Its solid but not spectacular, which is kind of a general take on the style for me. Has that slightly darker breadiness feel to it. I'd still buy it if packaged. These kind of relatively easy drinking beers always have a place.
I added this beer to this Next Glass owned database here a few years after consuming the beer. I also added a review, content generator, you're welcome. But are you reelin' in the years?

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
