16 oz. can from the Sierra Nevada giftshop in Chico, CA. Pours a beautiful crystal clear golden yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma has both pine and juicy citrus notes along with a clean maltiness. Pine stands out in the taste with some grapefruit bitterness and a touch of vanilla. Good cracker malt backbone. The body is light which makes it very easy to drink. Nice pine bitterness sticks to the tongue but not in an overwhelming way. Finishes with a nice bitter bite and lingering woody notes. I don't know that I would associate this one with Christmas, but it's a damn good IPA!
