drank at the brewpub in Firenze
a: pours a murky light brown color with a 1/2 finger off-white silky head
s: a little hard to pick up the nose on this one. caramel, strawberry, dry crackers, brown sugar, and a very slight earthy/herbal aroma
t: flavor here is juicy caramel and strawberry and dry crackers initially. there is a hint of brown sugar and a very slight herbal bitterness in here as well
m: light, not much carbonation at all
o: labeled as a brown ale, but does not taste too much like one to me - if I had to guess it reminds me of a light APA. it is still a very drinkable beer, and is great for watching a soccer match in this brewpub, however its not so much a brown ale
