This is a Belgian-style beer made with chestnut honey. 7.3%

There’s a light toasted amber color with nice lacing. I enjoyed the aroma of what I believe was clover honey (turns out its chestnut honey, very Italian!) and the floral notes. It has a touch of caramel on the flavor with a rounded smoothness and a sweet finish. Enjoyable, interesting and engaging.

Excellent belgian-style beer. In all honesty you would never guess how high the proof is drinking it from a daught given how smooth the finish and nose are. The color is a beautiful clear, dark amber. It is sweet on the palate, reminiscent of other Belgian ales, but not overwhelming. It is brewed with chestnut honey and that comes through in the taste but not as much in the nose which is very sweet, normally not my style. That being said, I really enjoyed this beer and the taste notes of chestnut and caramel complimented each other nicely. If you are ever in Firenze check out the bar and try the beer. Cheers
