Our flagship IPA, Just Outstanding, was named after a local mountain bike trail. Locals call the trail (& the beer) JO for short. This Double IPA version of that beer has even more Simcoe, more Amarillo & more of that JO goodness you are looking for. Get ready to get in the flow & huck some serious hops. JOJO is bound to be one helluva ride.

Flavour of this brew is flawless, it taste amazing! It feels incredible, with a light, malty back bone with a delightful but not overpowering floral hop quality. I got this in Sacramento over a week ago and I am drinking in Redding California April 30, 2020.

Pours slightly hazy honey from the can with a large snowcap head that retreats quickly leaving robust bitter lacing and a fine dusting at the surface. The nose is sticky overripe honeydew dank. Clean and crisp on the palate at first with light carbonation. Well rounded hop and piney sweet malt coats the mouth as the aroma takes root in the sinuses. Good balance makes this a crushable double. Nothing in particular Jumps out at you, no major flavor profile prevails, and perhaps thats the most impressive part of this quaffable JO. Is it twice the JO? Or would you rather have a couple a JOs? Only Raul knows.

This is a weird one. I’ve had my fair share of beers that have had that “nascar/rocket fuel” tinge to it, and I think this one here has a little of it too (which I feel is ok in small doses). That being said, it also has something else to it that I just can’t put my finger on. First impression, like Carmen Electra in the 90’s, is that it’s palatable - which is obviously a good place to start. But overall, will it still be 90’s Carmen or 2020 after her Baywatch days are over and she’ll do anything for a paycheck? Hmm...
Things are kind of settling in. I think it’s a fine beer. But so is attending the County Fair after a few tall boys. It’s not top tier entertainment, but it will do. And here, I don’t think we have a top tier beer. We have a fine beer, but Raul ain’t gonna serve it at his wedding, ya feel me?
