Pours a cloudy amber color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and decent lacing. Smells of sweet malt, yeast, slight alcohol, fruit, slight pale malt, citrus hops, slight ester, and a hint of bacterial funk. Fits the style of a Saison / Farmhouse ale. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, bread dough, slight alcohol, fruit, slight pale malt, citrus hops, slight ester, and a hint of bacterial funk. Overall, weak appearance, but good aroma, body, complexity, and blend.

This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a soft hazy orange color with a slight transparency about it. Finger’s worth of white foamy head quickly dies off. No lacing. The smell starts off with some sweet cherries, light breadiness. Herbal sweetness. Sweet grass/somewhat like sage. Honey, and sweet lemon pulp. The flavor was basically the same with a big herbal sweetness running into the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a semi-syrupy texture about it. Herbal sweetness wants to cling but softly slides on my tongue. Overall, not a bad biere de’Garde by an American brewer.

Bomber bottled on 6/15/16. Poured a slightly hazy golden orange color with a small head. Very phenolic aroma with some Belgian yeastiness. Nice funky tartness with some sweet caramel and mild bitterness.

Bomber bottle, "Bottled on 6/15/16"
Pours medium clouded, typical almond amber, moderate light khaki cap, leaves a nice looking tiny bubble film, thin collar and beter then respectable lookng low sheeting and scattered lacing.
Earthy, leafy nose..smells like a wet road in the fall.
Quite tasty brew, saisony, earthy, moderatly funky, highly complex and quite delicious....notes of belgian yeast, mild brett, more earth, less funk, more fall day in the woods...complex and simply great beer...well done Smuttynose

Appearance: pours an orange color with a short head that disappears quickly.
Smell: fruity tones with some funk rise from the glass.
Taste: banana, bubblegum, yeast, green apples, some orange citrus, and some tartness from the Brett. Bitterness is moderate here.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp throughout.
Overall: a slow sipping but different flavored beer from some of the other Brett beers. Enjoyable.

Pours hazy and yellow with a white head that falls well and not completely.
Nose is cracker and some subtle citrusy fruit. There is a sweet herbal woven throughout. An ester or two form the yeast. There is a little funky earth in this . Pear. Smells sweet and a bit rich. Spice and clove come forward as it warms.
Earthy palate with lots of crackery malt to take hold first while the light citrusy tartness fill up the middle. This was lovely with perfect bubbles that gave this a gentle burst in your mouth that showed off plenty of citrus and a smooth tartness that hides the abv quite well. Hops give plenty of pepper in the finish. This has a bit of sweetness in the finish though that keeps it from being dry. The funky earth is not barnyard but sweeter and imo it does stand out over the hop herbal on the nose an don the palate. It tastes lovely though and that extra sweetness seems to bring out some fresh tasting orange which is a lovey feature of this beer. A little bitterness lingers and shows off the crackery malt once more.
I liked this and felt that the hops had plenty more complexity to offer. I thought I tasted a light tropical note that was elusive and some soft stone fruits. The carbonation was good but a little soft and maybe a few more bubbles would have helped this to dry out in the finish. That sweetness is what keeps it from being as good as it could be. I thought the flavors were excellent, the malt substantial.

A very pretty hazy golden hue with lasting bone-white cap. Nose is funk-first, with cracked pepper and a background of lemon zest. Flavor thankfully has some sweet bready malt, though it fades to a semi-bitter blend of pepper and funk. Fairly smooth, and a decently clean finish. I might get into it by the bottom of the bottle, but this thing's a bit too wild for me.

Poured a slightly cloudy orange-gold color with a fairly thin, soap bubble head.
The smell is subdued - mild earthy funk, vaguely fruity, mildly spiced with some yeasty bread.
The taste identifies a bit more clearly. Apple, pear, and grape fruity notes, subdued brett character, spicy saison yeast, pretty hefty malt. It is quite sweet, minimally bitter.
The feel is smooth, medium bodied. Somewhat dry finish. Alcohol...this is a sneaky beer as I can't find 9% at all.
The words that come to mind are laid back. I like the beer, generally speaking, but it reads more like a Biere de Garde...quite sweet for a saison in my opinion. It isn't a "wow" beer, but it is a solid brew that tastes good and I would enjoy it again.

From the bottle, it pours a bit orangey amber with a small head, quickly dissipating to a ring. Funky to the nose. A bit funky to the mouth, along with a sweetish flavor. Not my style, but interesting.

clear and orange with a thin, soapy head.
smells of muted funk, apples, white pepper, and something a bit sour but that doesn't carry through to the taste.
flavor is pretty clean overall. nothing lingering. some pear and grape fruit flavors with a bit of spice at the end.
mouth is clean and well carbonated.
it's good but it's missing something.

Brewed with French Raison yeast and Brettanomyces. Brewed on 6/15/16. Samples on 8/14
Golden Amber/ light honey color. Subtle action, rather small thin white foam cover.
Sweet, sour and funky yeast aroma. Lemmon zest, white pepper, strawberries and wheat. Really nice, funky yeast thing.
Zingy, zippy and dry feel, wicked refreshing with a long yeast and hop lingering bitterness.
Flavor has sweet fruits and malt at first, coupled with an herbal, zesty funky yeast and hop team up. Decent depth in the yeast, only medium funk from the Brett. Very interesting balance. Flavor might lack a bit in overall complexity and depth considering The ingredients. The malt tends to be a bit cloying, runs through the flavor and making the feel a bit long.
Relaxed in activity and snappy feel shortly after the pour. However, the aroma really opens up after a while with more sweet fruitiness.
Love the idea , the execution seems a bit lacking for its style. Still, very enjoyable but I remember the original Big Beer Series Raison as something very special.
