Bottled on 11/11/2014.PoursA golden hued sunshine with a large blooming white head that settles very slowly into a frothy mass.Big herbal and spicy hops in the nose along with some toasted grain and honey esters.A little thin in the back end with spicy/herbal hop flavors intertwined with a lightly toasted bread and some more honey giving mild sweetness in the finish.Solid,I would have liked more body but it has a real nice hop profile.

Look - Pours a Pale golden color

Smell - citrus, piny, and sweet

Taste - Lemon lime notes from the Motueka hops, also some melon notes make this unique. It is sweet up from and mildly bitter on the end.

Feel - this Pale Lager has a crisp clean finish, would make a good summer brew.

Overall - This was a good brew overall, but let me down a bit. I was hoping for more bite, and the finish is just off. That being said it was an easy drinker and worth checking out.

From the corked, caged 12.7 oz bottle. Bottled 11/11/14. Sampling it on January 15, 2015.

Pale yellow, heady pour.

Aroma of toasted pilsener or German malts with a clean hop character.

Light and refreshing body.

Breaded, sweet malt character in the taste with a clean, quick finish. It said drink fresh and this is more than two months from bottling. It may have had an impact.

Bottle from Bert's
Light golden color bubbly white head. Floral spicy hop aromas with light crackery bread beneath. Lemony wheat in there as well. Odd mash up of flavors, not quite clean enough to be a lager.

Bottled on 11/11/2014. It pours clean with a bit of yeast at the end from bottle conditioning. Very small head, but it does last. The lace slides back into the liquid. Light gold/dark straw color with a bit of a whitish haze.

Very nice, clean smell--a touch hop cones.

Thin bodied with an elevated carbonation level--it feels like a macro. The taste, though, is anything but. The malt starts in a mild way. Quickly, a pepper-like hop bite kicks in and lasts through the long aftertaste.
