375 ml. corked and caged bottle.
Moderate pour yields a 1/4 inch white head that recedes to a thin ring in minutes with no lacing. Slightly hazy golden amber body. Nose of slight funk, citrus (grapefruit, mostly), and an herbal/floral quality as well. Exceptional flavors of citrus, herb, and cracker. Good feel and overall a nice little saison/wild ale. Cheers!

Really enjoyable beer on roster of great Smuutynose brew at The Ruck event. Light but incredibly lively for under 4%. Dave, did you age this? Amazing

Tap at Cask and Vine.
Slightly hazy deep yellow color with a good sized foamy white head that took a nit to recede. Earthy lemony tart with hints of citrus and some light funk. I would like to sit down with a pint of this on its own I liked it but in a flight I think some of the nuances may have been missed.

First off, let me just say this is an incredible beer by Smuttynose. Comes bottled and corked in a 12.7oz, coming in at 3.8% ABV. Pours smoothly with some carbonation but no head. Colored a cloudy, deep golden yellow, and with an aroma dominated by honey with hints of coriander. You get that light, intense seltzer-like carbonation that you can sometimes find in sours, Berliner-style wheats, and certain Farmhouse ales, however the inclusion of those Brettanomyces definitely gives you a very pleasing sour quality to go along with it. More hints of honey and citrus hit your tongue, and following that comes that herbal essence from the coriander that sticks with you along with a comfortable wheatiness in the back of your palate . I'm by no means a professional in reviewing a new beer, but I did the best I could! I felt that a review needed to be uploaded for this beer as there are none yet, so I hope this helps with those trying to get an idea of what to expect! Incredible petite saison, another home run for Smuttynose. Make Mine a Smutty!
