On tap at Positive Pie, Montpelier.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a glossy stained yellow color with a cap of a little white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Light lace speckled here and there.
The aroma had some sweet grassy to citrusy fresh pulpy conglomeration. Light white pepper and finished off with a little bit of sweet grains to moderate Belgian sweet breadiness.
The flavor was a nice blend of the sweet Belgian yeasty to bready sort of character flowing into the spice appropriately and bringing in a subtle grassiness at the end. Sly aftertaste of the breadiness, light grassy quality.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate. Pretty smooth along my tongue.
Overall, pretty nice saison that I'd have again.

Bottle from the Brewery.
Hazy light golden color with a huge frothy bubbly white head that persists forever. Great citrus hop aroma with plenty of peppery spicy yeast phenols and a touch of sweet bready maltiness. Flavor is peppery spicy earthy with a solid sweet bready maltiness. Moderate earthy hop flavor but low bitterness. That's a pretty tasty hoppy saison right there.
