A lager with some small pretensions to not be an industrial version like Bud or Corona, and that low bar is met. But it has a fugitive head, a somewhat bright and grassy taste, an aroma with a hint of bread, and a somewhat cloying aftertaste. I'm drinking it at 60 degrees, which might not be in its favor. But there are so many better lagers, this is a disappointment from a major biggish small brewery. I had a Pilsner Urquell alongside it, and it has nowhere near the balance and fullness of that lager, which you may as well drink instead!

Poured from 12 oz can into pilsner glass. Large pillowy white head, hazy golden color, moderate streaming carbonation. Nice spider web lacing on the glass. Aroma has fruity and citrus nuts with pleasant toasted malt. Mouthfeel is crisp and dry. Flavors --biscuit, cracker, floral and citrus hops. Overall: very pleasant.

From a 12oz can, canned 04/01/21. Served in a pilsner glass.
Pours a slightly cloudy straw-gold with active carbonation and a scant two fingers of suds. Retention is unremarkable but leaves a fizzy cap and a rousable curtain of slippery lacing.
Aroma is robust, earthy, grassy. Dry grass or hay, dry, musty flowers, pee.
Taste is earthy and floral up front, then sweet and doughy on the back end. Grassy noble hop bitterness. Soap, food wax.
Feel is smooth and doughy, slick and soapy, medium-plus bodied and briskly carbonated.
Overall, a decent little can o’ beer. Crushable, yes, but just a little too heavy to want to crush more than maybe the three that came in the variety pack.

A very flavorful and delicious lager. Reminds me of Founders Solid Gold with a more pronounced hop profile.

Can from the mixed 12 pack at Market Basket
Brilliant deep yellow in color with a bubbly white head that persists. Bready and light crackery maltiness balanced with earthy floral hops. Medium body moderate carbonation, pretty tasty larger.

The brewery describes this as a “beer’s beer” and that pretty much sums it up. Yellow and drinkable with a bit more body than some. Meant to be drunk quickly and in large gulps not sipped and savored. Another very good beer from a very good brewery.
